Unfortunately, I haven’t had much time to be able to go and shoot recently, so when I heard that the Kings of Wanneroo was back on for another year (and having missed out on previous years), I made sure I made it down to Barbagallo Raceway to catch the action.
This year we had the privilege of seeing ASBK Champion Bryan Staring, MotoGP and SBK rider Jeremy McWilliams, and Superbike and Supersport Champion Jamie Stauffer compete against the top local guys, Ben Henry (WA SBK Champion), Ben Stronach and Jamie Boland just to name a few.
Have to say what an awesome days worth of racing, shame the weather was so varied. I got a bit sunburnt, at other times I was hiding under my umbrella from the wind and rain, then you had the humidity on top of that too.

After missing Round 3 of this years championship, I made it my mission to make my way to Barbagallo this weekend to catch this event, even if it meant missing the final day of Targa West. It proved to be worthwhile with another fantastic event.

I managed to get to Barbagallo Raceway this weekend for Round 2 of the Motorcycle Racing Club of WA held at Barbagallo Raceway here in Perth which again provided another eventful day full of very close competition.
